Hospital Visitors

We are thankful for family and friends who were and still are so excited to help us celebrate Annie's arrival. We are blessed to have such a wonderful support system, and Annie is one lucky girl to be so celebrated as well! Below are her hospital visitors!

Annie's most important visitor-big brother Henry!

Henry climbed up in the bed with me and wanted to check his baby sis all out. I was so thankful he did not show any jealousy at all.
Giving her a pat. He talked about the bow on her hat.

He said, "I want to see her toes, Mommy." So we unwrapped her and checked them out. He saw her peeling skin and said, "She's dirty." :)
Steven went and got Henry some ice cream to celebrate Annie's birthday. When grandma and the Bushes came in the room, we all sang "Happy Birthday" to Annie. Giving Henry ice cream is always a good way to win him over!!:) And he loves the birthday song, too!

Our wonderful family from Kentucky. We called Heather on the way to the hospital at 3:30 am their time and they loaded up right away to drive 5 hours to meet their new family member! Their bags were already packed. Annie's late due date was driving them all crazy!:)

Grandma snuggling her newest grand baby.

My parents came mid afternoon on Monday. Here's papa meeting the newest addition. It was Dad who pointed out that Annie's nose that I couldn't place was MY nose...Annie might look a little like mama before it is all said and done! You should feel honored, Annie, that Papa is holding you. Infants make him nervous.

Manar meeting Annie. She was pretty giddy about it all!:)
We had fun talking about what Annie looked like and comparing her to Henry, me as an infant, and reminiscing about when my brother and I were born.
Our sweet small group buddies came to meet Annie, too. The Rollins brought their newest addition, Ezra! They are less than 3 weeks apart and are going to be tight!
Daddies with their little ones.

Grandpa and Peggy came Monday afternoon. They oohed and ahhed over Annie and spent some time with the other grand kids, too!

Hello, family!

Daddy holding his sweet girl.
Spending a little time with my little one.

Our other wonderful small group buddies came to meet Annie on Tuesday. The Rollins and Burns both also came to the hospital to meet Henry when he was born! How special.

Annie, these women are going to spoil you rotten. They love you so much!:)

Henry asked to hold Annie, so here is the first hold with Daddy's help. He was so cute checking her out.

Wanting to get up close and personal.

What a great big brother! Unfortunately Henry came down with fever right after this and didn't get to come back to the hospital. Steven took him to the doc on Tuesday just to make sure it wasn't anything like strep, but it was just a lovely fever virus. We were so thankful it broke the morning we came home and family was able to take care of our sick boy while we were away.
Our former neighbors and wonderful friends the Busches dropped by, too!
