38 Weeks

It is embarrassing how often I am in PJ type pants in these pictures-I promise I really do wear "real" clothes all day! I still have to look decent for work, but as soon as I get home I get comfy!! My 38 week appt. on 2/16 went well. No new news...still 1 cm and 70% effaced like my last appt. The doc. says I am measuring "right on the money" and my BP and the baby's heart rate are great. All is well. It is just a waiting game now I guess.

Be Mine!

We celebrated Valentines Day a little early-Sunday night we went out to dinner and had a fun time being together. I got Steven a few golf shirts. :)
Dressed up and heading out to dinner! Somehow Maggie always seems to know when we are about to take a picture and weasels her way into the shot. We don't mind, though! It is kinda funny.

On actual Valentines Day we stayed in, but Steven brought me this orchid. I love them and it has become a great tradition for him to always get me one on special occasions. I keep them alive for as long as I can!

Steven's mom sent the baby a Valentines Day gift! A cute card and tin with cookie in it-we ate it, so I guess the baby enjoyed his present in utero. :)

Since we stayed in, I decided to try my hand at heart shaped homemade pizza. Not bad!

School Baby Shower

My school threw me a baby shower this morning. All the 3rd-6th graders were in attendance and it was so sweet! They all brought in their gifts and sat so nicely while Steven and I opened them. We had hot Krispy Kremes to boot! I didn't get many photos, so I don't feel like these do it justice, but you get the idea! It was a marathon of gift opening, and we got tons of great stuff! I feel so incredibly blessed to a part of such a great school. I look forward to being there everyday and know it is right where the Lord has placed me. I can't wait for our baby to be a part of this community.

My WONDERFUL co-workers (the 3rd-6th grade teaching team)= Heather, Katrina, Rebecca, and Anne

I had Steven snap a pic as we were heading upstairs-what a great group of 5th graders!

37 Weeks

Today, 2/8, I am 37 weeks. Feeling good...have had my first bit of swelling in my feet/ankles this week. Ah, lovely pregnancy! As my belly shows, baby boy is growing big! I will be interested to see what tomorrow's doc appt. reveals, if anything! Last week I was 1cm and 70% effaced....

Welcome Little Peanut!

My wonderful, spectacular, marvelous small group church friends threw me a baby shower on Saturday 2/4. The theme was yellow and gray elephants to match the nursery, and they put "Welcome Little Peanut" on the door and cake and completed the theme with circus peanuts scattered around-TOO CUTE!!! I had such a great time and felt so blessed to have all my Huntsville friends together to celebrate. Thank you, girls, for making this such a special day for me. I love you and thank God you're in my life!!
My neighbors (Nikki, Kristi, and Robin) are so fun-Hunters' Crossing represent!

Paige and Sara-Sunday School friends

The group photo! We are looking good!

My mom-in-law made the trip down to join the celebration. I was so happy to have her there, especially since my mom had to cancel at the last minute due to stomach bug at their house. She represented both grandmas at the shower! :)

We did scrapbook pages for the baby boy-right up my alley!! I loved seeing everyone's creation!

The hostesses with the mostesses....Karen, Melanie, and Sarah

There were yellow and gray elephants hanging from the light-so creative! Maybe I can use these for a mobile if I can get creative myself??!!

There was some seriously yummy food there-appetizers are my favorite! I made sure to get seconds....ah, hem. I mean the baby really wanted seconds.

36 Weeks

On 2/1 I was 36 weeks...and I have a belly to show for it!

On the same day, we got 3 different baby gifts in the mail-so fun!!
