Week 4 at home

Monday August 1 was a busy one. My mom came to watch Annie at home while Henry, Ruby and I went to school for me to work for a bit.

Then we went to Ruby's 2 week appointment (even though she was 3 weeks old-I decided to wait the additional week for our doctor to be back in town rather than going to a partner).

While we waited for Doctor Dudley, I caught one of Ruby's first smiles on camera. It was a hilarious series of pictures, and this was one of them! So funny. Steven and I said she looked like a little old man in them!

At her appointment, Ruby was great! She was 8.8 lbs and 22 inches long (75% for both).

Henry took Manar on the trail and found a treasure.

That night we got our first meal from our church Sunday school class and a visit from the Andrews!
Annie holds Ruby and says stuff like, "Look at her little nose! Look at her little ears!" and so forth. So sweet.

On a rainy Tuesday 8/2 we met Julie and her girls at Matrix. The kids enjoyed running around and Ruby slept through it all.

This girl wasn't sure at first, but warmed up by the end.

The end of summer has been awesome for Annie's swimming. She can officially swim by herself and has gained so much confidence. She wants to "practice" all the time (ie-no puddle jumper) and will put her head under water and swim forward. She jumps in from the steps and swims to us...depending on how her mood strikes as to how far. She has gone the length of the pool with Steven!

PJ kids!

Grocery store with these crazy kids is far from boring....

We took a picnic lunch to the park-so hot! Ruby slept through all and is so easy as we carry on our regular life!
Sweet swaddle girl

These superheros were running all around the house one day.

8/6-Aunt Mae and Uncle Jimmy were on their way back through from a cruise...we met them on the interstate for lunch and some cuddle time with Ruby. We were big kid free again since Grandpa and Peggy took them over the weekend for a visit.

We got another couple of days with just this little sweet one.

And the big kids got some special time with the grandparents-they met a cop at church on Sunday:)

And got to go to the Williamson County fair, too! They are always spoiled when Gpa and Peggy have them!
