28 wks

On March 1, 2014 I turned 28 wks. My pregnancy is going well, and I have had several weekly OB visits in a row due to the doc wanting to monitor my pneumonia. I feel like I live at the OB's office! When I was (almost) 29 wks, the baby was measuring 28 cm. I find it very hard to believe, but the doc says he would actually like to see me gain some more weight!! I told him I had NEVER heard that before in my life, but I would do my best to oblige!! Ha, ha! I think it's just because I've basically been sick for 2 months solid, but I've only gained about 7 lbs total, and there have been a couple of visits where I've fluctuated and lost a few pounds. Anyway, I am not concerned, but he does want to do an ultrasound at my 32 wk appointment to just make sure the baby is growing as she should be. The heartbeat always sounds good, and she is also very active. I am great with this extra ultrasound, though, because it means another glimpse at her and also another chance to hopefully confirm her gender!:) Steven has made it his mission to make me eat, and has been pushing all kinds of food on me! I think I made up for lost time while on spring break last week! :)
My heartburn is in full force now, and I hate it so. I still sleep well and have not had back pain like I did at this phase with Henry. This pregnancy is going SO quickly...as I write this I am less than 10 wks away from my due date. When I was thinking about this last night as we were leisurely watching TV, I asked Steven if he realized that in just 2.5 short months we will be holding and possibly up walking around a crying infant and will be up every 3 hrs with her in the night.........it is a reality check for both of us to think about this! We've just done less prep than we did with Henry and worried less about it all (part of the beauty of a second child). While I've done some shopping for her for sale clothes, etc. we haven't done much else. I think when we get her room ready and I have some baby showers, it will help prep us mentally. We also need to go ahead and get out the baby equipment so Henry can get used to having it around before she arrives. I have started to glance back over the Bradley Method book to try and prep for delivery....I guess getting her here is really the first hurdle I should be focusing on anyway!
Welp, either way we are excited to meet her (still un-named....while driving to the beach last week we tried to come up with some and didn't get very far....). She'll be here before we know it!

TWO!

Our little man turned TWO on February 26, 2014!! While it's hard to believe we have a two year old, all we have to do is look at Henry to know that he is not really a baby anymore, but is quite the "big boy" running around these days! I've said it before-it would be very sad for me that he is growing up so fast except for the fact that he is just so much fun right now! Everyday he is discovering something new, saying something new, and doing something new. Being a parent is quite the adventure!
We had lots of fun celebrating his birthday this year, and I will be posting on that soon, I hope! But for now, I want to do one last monthly "progress" update. Of course I will be continuing to write all about Hank, but I'm not planning to keep up the monthly update after 2. It is a lot of work! :)
One of the best things that happened this past month wast that Henry was tested again for his egg allergy, and he has grown out of it!! We took him on the 25th for the prick test-no reaction! We went back the very next day (his actual birthday!) to do the "food challenge". I brought a scrambled egg and boiled egg in. They gave him increasingly larger portions of it and monitored him every 20 minutes-no reaction! I was honestly VERY surprised. He was such a show off at the allergist, too. Steven and I were super skeptical they'd be able to even get him to take one bite (picky and opinionated!), but of course he showed us up and not only ate it right off the spoon but begged for more! He would say, "mmm!" after each bite, too. Silly boy....you never know what he's going to do. Anyway, it has been SO SO nice to not have this worry anymore. Honestly nicer than I thought. Plus, it makes that year of avoiding egg worth it since it worked! I guess they knew what they were talking about after all........:)
Henry went to his 2 year checkup on March 5th and weighed 26 lbs (25%) and was 33.5 inces tall (25%). Dr. Dudley said he looks perfect.:)

Henry continues to talk up a storm. It is interesting, because I try to keep a "tally" on my phone of all his little phrases, and this is the first month that I truly have not been able to keep up at all. He has just said so many things there is no way. After looking at the list, I can even see progress within it. The first phrase of the month is much more "choppy" than what is written for the end of the month, and certainly much more than the full sentences he is saying to us (literally) today ("I want that book please, Mommy. No, not that one. (As I search the seat compartment for the one he's asking for). It's on the floor.") He will repeat anything, and it is SO much fun to hear that little voice emerge. We've tried stuff like supercalagragalisticexpialadoshus on him, and it is hilarious to hear him try. He gets pretty close for a 2 year old!! The more silly of a mood he is in, the more willing he is to try new words, so we do our best to take advantage of this:) He is my little companion in the car to and from work, and jabbers to me all the way. It's nice to hear other people confirm that he is a talker, too though, because we don't really know any different, but will sometimes look at each other and say, "Wow! Did he say______ (fill in the blank)". When church workers, strangers, and his school nursery workers comment on it, though, it makes it seem more valid. :)
Some stuff he's been saying this month has been:
I want mama, runny nose bubble need tissue, playroom dada, drink of water, bang on ball-hit it with a hammer-big hammer, sandwich, salad, lettuce, come on mama!, be careful!, hurry, hurry up, what's the matter mama?, you ok? (these are both so very sweet-he is showing lots of two yr old empathy, and he's gotten lots of practice this past month while I've been sick with pneumonia), I make a noise!, it's blue with green on it! (he's gotten very good with his colors this month), I see bicycles mama! Come on, bicycles!, mama finger scratch my face. Ouch, it hurt me. Hurt chin. (I went to grab him to keep him from falling and scratched his chin with my fingernail really badly! He told EVERYONE the story of what happened thereby making me feel like a terrible mother! I think he's going to have a scar from it- as you can see in the pics here), a little bit more, baby sister, look mama look-it's a ______(whatever he sees-he reports EVERYTHING to me!), mama's shopping, whatcha doing?, it hurts me/I hurt my feet, finger, thumb, whatever, wake up Maggie!, I like snow! More please!, No. Mine. Gimme that/it, I put it away, stickers? stickers? Thank you lady! (He has learned at what stores he gets stickers when we check out, and he never fails to ask. At least he thanks the lady when he get what he wants!), hey Mags, all done mama-I ate it all gone!, babies drink milk-they don't eat goldfish-Henry eats goldfish (this is after one of our conversations with him to attempt to get him ready for baby sister-ha!), Nora Kate (sounded like "cake"), Dawson, Carter, medicine...I need my medicine, I have dirty hands, tip it up high (new sippy cup), there's birds on that jacket! (he noticed my windbreaker), I like Bennett's house! (after we'd visited), baby Clayton, there's a choo choo train on it, Manar says-go away sneeze. skat!, No write in books. Only on paper! No, no. That's naughty. (after a conversation we had when we saw some crayon scribbled on the back page of a hand-me-down book. we talk A LOT about this). I want to hold you, Want that mommy? Want this? Want that one? Want some? (all in a row), can you reach that mama?
He breaks out into song on his own a lot these days, and some songs or portions of songs we get the pleasure of hearing are: That's Elmo's World! My God is so big (complete with hand motions), Muffin Man, This Old Man, Happy Birthday to You (for a while he was throwing "reindeer" in there and we couldn't figure out why-then we realized it was because of the "dear, so and so" part. so funny!). Itsy Bitsy Spider, Skip to my Lou my Darlin.
He has gotten really good (or bad) at saying "I want" this month, and we've had to remind him a lot to say please. He wants EVERYTHING! When he was a baby, I remember reading that a parent should "narrate the day" to increase a child's vocabulary, so I tried to do that some but felt so silly. Now, it is Henry who narrates the day. He tells us everything he is doing or wants to do.........I want to go outside, I put my coat on, I need shoes, I open the door, Come on, Maggie! Come on! Pine cones! I pick up them up. Come on, mama! Want this, mama? Want this? Need this? Here you go.........you get the picture:)

Henry also has "triggers" for every family member. As soon as he talks to or sees particular ones, he says certain things. For Manar, it's stickers. For Kaia, it's bracelets. For Grandpa and Peggy, it's cookies. For Grandma, it's Jesus Loves Me. The boy doesn't forget much! Recently we've been with my parents, and we heard him with my dad at the fridge in the kitchen say, "What are you doing, Papa? Are you getting yogurt?" It's so funny to hear him try to carry on conversations. He also answers "good" or "great" to questions now...like, when Steven asks him how he's doing or how his day was, he says, "good". He's also developing a little sense of humor, and when we showed him an eraser recently (he has a serious love for all things office supply related), he stood up and pretended to "race" it across the room:). He poked himself in the leg the other day accidentally and I heard him from the back seat tell himself sorry and then kiss his leg!
Ok, enough about that...some of Henry's current favorites are....
-food-animal crackers, green olives, graham crackers, cereal bars, strawberries, chicken nuggets
-toys-tools, knocking over stacking cups, golf balls/clubs, play-doh, painting, anything art (anything that's not really a toy like batteries, wipes, lotion, sunscreen, etc:))
-activities-anything outside is #1 by far, running around the house in a circle chasing dada (or vice versa), riding on dada's back like a horse, bubbles
-people-Ellis, Braeden, Eli, plus he talks about certain school nursery workers like Mrs. Mandi, Mrs. Julie and her daughter Emma, Mrs. Valerie, Mrs. Tracy, all family, he's been especially clingy and needy for me this month...up, please! I wanna hold you! I need mama.

We love you, little man! You are a blessing and a sweetheart.

Baby #2

On September 20th, 2013, we got another surprise! We are expecting baby #2 in late May! I had been suspicious, but thought surly not. We were not planning this little one, but just like with Henry, we realize that God's plans not only trump ours, but they are far better than ours as well!! Henry and his sibling will be 27 months apart. We are excited and a little nervous to add to our family...FOUR??...WOW!! :)

September 20th happens to be Steven's birthday. I had suspicions a few days prior and he knew about these, but we put them out of our heads, because we knew they were wrong! I decided if I was still unsure on his bday that I would take the test. When it was positive, I was shocked to be honest! I signed his birthday card from Kelly, Henry, and Baby #2. After reading it, he looked up at me with a big smile on his face and said, "Really? Wow!" He was also surprised!

Here's me with a positive read...I have the same pose from when I found out I was pregnant with Henry.

Here is the 8 week ultrasound on 10/15/13. All was well at this checkup! We waited to tell family in person until we saw them all at Thanksgiving. I was 14 weeks at that point. Everyone was excited! I made phone calls, sent texts/e-mails, and announced to Sunday school after that. I told my principal, co-workers, and students the following week, and they were all thrilled as  well! After lots of thinking and praying, we've decided that I will take next year off of work to stay at home with the 2 kids. It just makes sense logistically, but we also see how quickly Henry's first 2 years have flown by and know that this is just going to continue, so staying at home is something I want to take advantage of while they are little. I'm thankful for the opportunity, but also a little nervous about being at home with 2 kids full time! Everyone has been very supportive of this decision, including my boss and co-workers. I'm so thankful for such a family oriented work environment (and for a supportive husband, too!!).
We sent out a Christmas card with this picture on the front to announce to all of our out of town family and friends that we were expecting. We got SO many compliments on the card that I was so glad I took the time to do it.
This is me at 20 weeks...I must say that I have gotten much bigger much faster with baby #2. I swear I
felt stretching and like I was already growing at 6 weeks. CRAZY. This week (20) was my first week to wear maternity clothes, but I could have been in them much sooner. I am just not a fan, so I put it off as long as possible! Part of the reason I feel bigger is because I AM bigger...Istill had about 15 pounds of "baby weight" from Henry that was not gone, so adding to that has been kind of depressing. I keep reminding myself, though, that my time will come soon enough when I can get back into better shape....summer time will be here before we know it! I've also had lots of encouragement from moms who say they showed much earlier with #2, too. You show earlier, but it doesn't necessarily mean you continue to grow at that rate. Whew. That is a relief! :) I felt this baby much earlier, too, like at around 13 weeks. Steven felt it around the same time as with Henry (18-20 wks), but I think he could have felt much earlier had we just been patient!

Below is me at 24 weeks. I've felt pretty good overall with this pregnancy. My main symptom has been exhaustion! I nap when Henry does, and I'm ready to go to bed early at night! I think this is because I am running after a toddler and also because with Henry my first trimester was in the summer whereas with this baby my first trimester was the first 3 months of school...which is exhausting in and of itself! A lot has been similar to my pregnancy with Henry, except I would say a bit milder (heartburn, cravings, emotions, etc). The one thing that has been better (so far-knock on wood) is my back pain. With Henry I was miserable on and off with an achy back, but so far this has not been the case! I know it could still come, but at least I haven't had this symptom thus far. The worst part was changing Henry's dirty diapers during my first trimester (nauseating!) and the almost 1 month long bout with pneumonia that I've dealt with up until this post. A constant cough/difficulty breathing and constantly not feeling good is no fun when you're pregnant. I am thankful to be feeling better!

Here is our 24 week ultrasound on 2/4/14 where we found out we are having a GIRL!! We were surprised and excited! We immediately started talking to Henry about his baby sister, and he's been talking about her ever since. Everyone was super excited to find out the gender. I told my class by giving them a Hershey's bar and circling the "Her" part of it. I was planning on handing it to them, but ended up sick and had to stay at home (I've had pneumonia for almost a month...but that's a different story!). The kids were dying to know, so the sub asked if we could Facetime for me to tell them. I showed them the Hershey's bar and let them figure it out. They were thrilled! When I saw them on Friday I gave them the candy, and that made them happy, too!:)
Above left is baby girl's face close up, and above right is a profile pic (not the best).
The other pics below are showing girl...the ultrasound tech at first said she was 85% sure, the by the end she said she would say she's 99% sure, but she doesn't do that kind of thing:) While we just kind of have to trust her, it did not look like Henry's gender shot, so I tend to think she's right. I still feel skeptical, though, for some reason. I guess we will just have to see her to believe it! We have no names for her...haven't really talked about it yet. The nursery will stay similar, we will just add a little pink! We've already shopped a little for her (gotta take advantage of the late winter sales, ya know??). I'm certainly excited to dress her!

That's all for now on baby #2. Will continue to keep posting on our progress, though!

23 months

Henry turned 23 months yesterday. WOW! His second birthday is looming! I would be sad about this if he weren't just so much fun right now! I'm going to try to make this short and sweet, but I know I always end up being long-winded.

Henry is talking up a storm, and he's saying so many phrases. He is a chatter box really. I don't normally hear them in the halls at school, but one day this month I could hear his little voice coming down the hall. I waited til they passed, and he was chattering all the time. When I poked my head out, I saw he was not the only one getting to go on an little outing, but the other kid was totally quiet. Henry was narrating everything (a running theme), and I could hear him saying, "downstairs, downstairs" as they took the three steps down the stairs....I'm sure the nursery workers are thinking, "Sheesh! Be quiet kid!", but we love it.:) It's just fun to hear him make connections.

Some things he's been saying this month are: "I pet big doggies!" (after we'd been at the dog park), "see you later!", windy, cold, brrr, "this way!", "lick it" (said this when he saw I was mixing icing with beaters-how did he know this??), "push button!", chicken dance (LOVES this), battery (baa-lu-lee), "we fixed it!", "I wanna hold it", all Winnie the Pooh and Sesame Street character names, "I need bibbett!!" (when I was putting Henry to bed one night I realized that I did not have his night time frog lovie, so I yelled down to Steven to see if he could find it-Henry proceeded to yell down, "Dada! I need bibbett, Dada!!", warm, cozy (when describing his blankie), napkin (he likes to get out napkins from the drawer before we eat and open them up and give everyone one), "no sir", "too much", "so much", "too loud", "like Layna!!" (when he got to sit in the big part of the cart rather than in the front part with strap for the first time), "all done milk", "big kids!" (when he sees the older students as we leave school or when we see kids in the neighborhood riding bikes), "Henry did it!!!!" (so proud when showing us his art after church or school), "Go away, bug. Move." (I heard this coming from the back seat while driving one day...he thinks anything little and black is a bug, so he was saying this to some lint on his pants), "I NEED it!!" or "I NEEDED that!" (this one has gotten frequent and annoying! Especially when we are in public and we are taking something away from him that he's ruining or that will harm him, and he says this, it sounds like we are torturing him!).
"Rain, rain go away" (I didn't know he actually knew this song, but he broke out into it when it was raining one day and we were running to the car), "moo,  moo here" (etc.), "Henry Hough, Kelly Hough, Steven Hough, mama Hough, dada Hough" (he says these randomly...Steven was trying to teach him his last name, and he caught right on-its weird to hear him say it, but cute, too!), "I take raisins in!" (from the car), "Touchdown!!" (this is hilarious! He goes right in front of the TV when Steven is watching sports, bends down, smacks the ground with his hands, and says, "Touchdown!!"), "Tennessee hat" (tee-see-hat), "toilet paper", "What mama doing?", "Robin baby belly. Big! Mama baby belly", mickey mouse, sit down, come on, Maggie!, Arkey, arkey (for Noah's ark song and book), "MINE!" (oh, dear!), "No, MINE!", "ouch, my bottom hurts" (after getting strapped into his car seat one time), "no...no....here!" (when working puzzels), "dada, sit other sofa" (when Steven walks in and we are already sitting on the sofa, Henry likes to boss him where to go), "like big boys!" (when on his 4 wheeler), "like Layna, like Kaia!" (when drinking from a cup), rainbow, "owe! It hurts me!" (sometimes true, sometimes dramatic), "monkeys jumping on bed", "plug it up!", "dada work, dada working", "meet dada"

He's also been answering lots of questions lately, like, when he was on Facetime the other night with Grandpa, he asked him what he had for dinner, and Henry said, "I ate beans!" (a true statement!). He also asked what mama was doing and Henry said, "Cooking!" Steven asked him what he wanted to do the other day, and he said, "play puzzels". When we ask him what does the fox say, Henry says, "wha, pah, pah, pah, pah, pah pah!" and it's so funny. He's been putting "me" at the end of a lot of statements lately like, "all done me". I guess it's his way of saying, "I'm all done" instead of just "all done".

A few other notes...he's slowed down on the potty, which is fine with me. I took a potty ring to school to see if he'd use it there, but evidently he was kind of anti-using it, so I told them not to worry about it. It is a big, cold, sterile room where he would go, so I can kind of understand his hesitation. We do it when it works for us, and don't really push it otherwise. We've put child safety handles on the pantry door. He just couldn't keep his little hands off it-it's a plethora of fun in there! He seems to be back into exploring again in general...he went through a phase of opening drawers, emptying, dumping, etc. a while back, and now he's into it again much to my chagrin! Oh, well. At least I know it is a phase. He's getting better at knowing his colors, but just when we think he has the basics, he will say a random color for one he "should" know. Oh well! He knows the letter "H", and we are starting to talk about some others...he's capable of knowing these. I feel kinda bad I haven't worked with him on it more! I'm realizing what a good sleeper Henry is. After our little bedtime routine, Henry wants to snuggle for just a second, but then he says, "night, night!" and he kind of lunges for his crib. He LOVES his blankie, and as long as he has that he is great with getting in it. He kind of giggles as he is getting lowered into bed and snuggles right in! It's certainly a blessing. He still has 12 hr nights and 3 hr afternoon naps. One more thing-he was such a ham for the above pics! When he saw we had the camera, he plopped himself right down and proceeded to say, "cheese!!" and over. I didn't mean for his wet hair to look THAT slicked down, but oh well! It's either this or total wildness:) He loves to see videos of himself and pictures of himself, and this provides us with some distractions sometime, which is a handy-dandy thing to have in your back pocket!

Well, this has ended up being so long. Sheesh! We love you, little man. Can't wait to see what next month holds!

Christmas 2013, Part 2

Once family left on Monday, we had a few days at home with just us before heading up to TN to see my family. Steven took the week off, so that was great! Unfortunately, at this point our camera battery had died and we could not find the charger, so the quality and frequency of pics decreases....while I am VERY thankful for my iphone camera, it does not hold a candle to the real thing. Since this we still have not found the charger, but bit the bullet and got a new one:/
We went to breakfast at Cracker Barrel Christmas Eve morning. We went to the Christmas eve afternoon service at church that day, too.

We were up and at em on Christmas morning...these sleepy heads are ready to open some gifts!

Henry got an umbrella in his stocking.

After all was said and done, the animal crackers in his stocking might have been his favorite gift:) Here he is showing one to me.

"Helping" feed Maggie on Christmas morning-just look at that grin!

Here's Henry is with his big gift...
His very own slide!
He also got some musical instruments that he's been enjoying playing with!
After naps on Christmas day, we headed to my folks to spend a few nights. We had our Christmas with them on Thurs, and my Aunt Brenda and Lawrence came for a visit (above).

The girls!

The boys!

Henry had so much fun with his cousins!

He got a kick out of the "kissing monkeys" my mom has.
His gift from mom and dad was this power wheels, which he loves. We got to take it outside for a little spin. He's not very good at steering, but gets a kick out of driving it all around.
Before heading home, we went to Murfreesboro to get together with friends. We hadn't gotten to meet Jane, Ben and Britt's baby, and since they were in from Philadelphia, we took advantage of it! Henry was very sweet to the baby, but I felt like I needed to keep a close eye on him! He kept wanting her to have her cup.

Here he is back at home getting more comfortable on his car. He rode it all over in this position with a big grin on his face-so funny!

Christmas 2013, Part 1

We had a wonderful Christmas season! It was busy, but fun, and I have LOVED being at home!! See below for the first part of our celebrations.

We started the Christmas season by lighting the Advent wreath with Henry each night before bed. We would sing a few songs, sometimes read one of his Christmas books, then (his favorite part) blow out the candles. This is a tradition I hope we will do each Advent season!
We also picked out our Christmas tree the week after Thanksgiving. Steven and I both grew up getting real trees, so we will continue that special tradition, too! Henry thought Steven did the whole tree (setting it up, decorating it, etc), so anytime he would see our or any tree he would point to it and say, "Good job, dada!"
Our small group does Tour de Christmas ever year, and we look forward to it all year  long! We get babysitters, and each couple provides a course for the night. We were last and had dessert. Above was the dessert table: cheese cake pops, marshmallow pops, fruit and fruit dip, strawberry santas, peanut brittle, oreo truffles, cracker candy, and chocolate dipped peanut butter bugles. Yum!

Here is our good looking group! We started at 5 and didn't end til like 1! We had a great time.

I held out a few extra oreos for Henry from the oreo truffles I made because they are egg free. Here is his first bite...
He was a fan for sure (smart boy). Here he is showing us his cookie:)
Henry did this cute craft at church on Sunday. He was SOO proud of it and kept looking at it and saying, "Good job!!" and "feet" and "toes" because he had to put his foot in the paint. Then we talked about how it was baby Jesus in the manger, and he kept pointing to Jesus and saying, "Baby Jesus!"

I made this felt tree/presents/ornaments for Henry this year. Robin had actually given me her leftover supplies last year, but I just couldn't pull it together enough to make it. I was determined to make it this year! While he was way into it while I was making it, when it was actually on the wall Henry played with it some, but not as much as I thought he would. Oh well! There's always next year!
We went to the library Christmas party one evening and met Bennett and Ethan there. They were all excited to see each other and had lots of fun singing carols, listening to books, and playing outside.
At the library, Henry kept staring and even waving to Roary from afar, but he was NOT a fan of the creature up close as you can see by his facial expression. He didn't cry, but he certainly did cling to dada and kept saying, "no, no, no". Oh well!

We had a half day of school Thursday the 19th, and the Bushes rolled in on Friday to start celebrating! The girls were feeling kind of puny, so they went to a doc in the box while Camden, Henry, Steven, and I enjoyed being outside. It was unusually warm weather. Look at Henry's form!
What handsome guys!

And what a cute little Santa mouse! He is so happy outside.

On Saturday we had our traditional brunch once Jim and Peggy arrived. Then we opened gifts! Henry was really into opening presents this year, so it made it extra fun.

Henry got a pair of Carhartt overalls and some John Deere toys from Grandpa and Peggy, but his favorite gift from them was animal crackers. He was super excited to get them and cried and cried when we took them away (after he'd been eating them a while). We have finally realized that we can take out half the crackers for later and let him have the box and what is left in there so that he thinks he can eat the whole thing. Baby psychology!

After naps Grandpa and Peggy left and we went to Bridge Street to stroll, search for Santa, and shop. We got some really great shots with Santa!
Henry was fine with Santa. He was pretty serious about him, but didn't cry. This is the same Santa we got pics with last yer, so I was happy to see him again! He looks great in his Victorian garb, and you can't beat an outdoor pic.
Here is Henry check the big guy out!
We went to early church on Sunday, then to lunch. I tried to get a group pic of all the kids by getting the three big ones set up, then putting Henry in their laps. He was NOT happy about this and fussed and wanted up. I just let him go play and started taking pics of the three Bush kids. As soon as he looked back and realized what was up, he sat himself right in a row with the rest, then looked at the camera and said, "cheese!". He kept looking down the line at what the big kids were doing and would imitate them. I love the above of Henry and Layna, the two "babies', checking each other out. :)

Grandma rolled in after naps on Sunday and we opened gifts again!

Diana brought the gifts from the Grandparents in Iowa, so we opened those. Henry was really into this! He wanted to "help" Steven put his gift all together and sat right beside him the whole time.
Once it was built, Henry had lots of fun with his Little People amusement park! They also got him the Winnie the Pooh DVD, so he officially owns it now.

Kaia playing with Henry after the chaos of opening gifts had subsided:) These two are great buddies.

During this time Henry has been in undies a lot! We bought him some Spider man ones, and they are so darn cute on him! He was proud to perform bathroom "duties" for the family, especially Aunt Mae. :)
