Girls' Night!

 On Dec 30, we headed to TN to start round 2 of celebrating Christmas (this time with my family). I had set up a girls' night out/baby shower for my friend Julie who I graduated with. This is her second girl, so she didn't really need much, but I say every baby needs a celebration! Plus, it was a great excuse for us all to get together. We had lots of fun eating and visiting. I've known all these girls since childhood, really, so it is so funny and neat to see each other in such "adult" roles now as wives, mothers, professionals. My, how time flies!

The preggo picture!! When this picture was taken, Julie was due in 2 weeks, Summer was due in 4 weeks, and I was due in 8 weeks. SO funny we are all going through this together...they kept saying WHERE is your baby?? We had to take a side view shot so baby boy Hough would show up in the picture. Don't worry-he's there. He makes his presence known everyday! I think we all three look pretty cute. :)

32 Weeks

On Wednesday 1/4/12 I was 32 weeks. I am starting to truly feel pregnant now...all the lovely things that come along with pregnancy such as soreness, shortness of breath while doing simple things like changing my shoes, uncomfortableness, etc. are rearing their ugly heads! My stomach is feeling large and in charge, and I guess that is because I am about 7 weeks from my due date! Overall, though, everything is going well. The baby is very active, and he does crazy moves all the time!

 We were thrilled to get the bedding that Steven's mom had been working on over Christmas. She has done an AWESOME job and we are SO happy with it. Diana, you're the best!

30 weeks??!!

Saying time is flying by is an understatement. Being in week 30 is crazy! I can't believe only 10 weeks to go until the big event. Looks like baby boy weighs about 3 pounds (about the weight of a head of cabbage!) and is about 15.5 inches long. Just a little update!

A baby shower-for MEEEE???!!!

So...I got this super cute bring-a-book baby shower invitation in the mail, and low and behold the shower is for ME!! It is an extremely surreal feeling to see your name on a baby related invitation! I am normally the one helping plan these things, not being the honoree! Needless to say, I am excited about it and think my family and friends throwing it are absolutely the BEST!! Thanks for all your planning and hard work, guys! I am so looking forward to it and can't wait to see you all!

Another gift:)

This baby's aunt Heather continues to spoil him...we got ANOTHER special deliver from her! This time it is a gray/white elephant sleeper that matches the nursery theme perfectly!!! Too cute!!

28 Weeks

I was 28 weeks on Wednesday. Time is flying by!!! Doctor's appt. was good-measuring just right and he says everything is looking perfect! Baby boy is approx. 15 inches long and weighs between 2-3 lbs. Third trimester, here we come!!
